Announcing the 2nd Annual Loud Coffee Press Haiku Contest!
Way back in September 2019, before the release of our first issue and when the world was normal-ish, we held our first contest: the Loud Coffee Press Hot Cup Haiku Contest! It's been over a year since we announced that contest and cast our hats into the crowded world of literary magazines. We are proud to announce the 2nd Annual Loud Coffee Press Haiku Contest!
This year's theme is "Sound or Silence."
To enter, please follow the rules below:
One entry per person! Your entry must be based around the theme, "Sound or Silence." The interpretation of this theme is entirely up to you. Have fun and be creative!
All haikus must follow the 5-7-5 syllable rule.
Please send entries to loudcoffeepress@gmail.com by November 30th, 2020. Please include the title of your haiku, your entry, and your full name, and social media links.
We will announce the winners on December 15th, 2020!
Prizes:
First Place: The winning entry will be featured in the winter issue of Loud Coffee Press. Also, the winner will receive a surprise package of Loud Coffee Press swag from our store.
Runners-Up: We will pick three runners up to be featured in a special blog post.
