New Book Release: Funny Plastic Flowers by Fred Charles!
“Slightly into the future…”
Loud Coffee Press is excited to announce our second book, Funny Plastic Flowers, by Fred Charles!
Deep in the bowels of The World of Wares product fulfillment center, an android packaging clerk named Caesar attempts to understand humanity through his interactions with jaded co-workers and middle-management.
Funny Plastic Flowers is a collection of eight flash fiction stories as seen through the eyes of a plastic Don Quixote. In a near-future world, are androids the heartbreaking reflection of humanity’s inescapable appetite for consumerism?
Funny Plastic Flowers is a 40-page handmade chapbook written and illustrated by Loud Coffee Press editor Fred Charles. Funny Plastic Flowers releases and ships on January 18th, 2021, but we are taking pre-orders for the Deluxe Edition at the discounted price of $7.00 starting today!
The Deluxe Edition contains:
(1) Signed and Numbered Copy of Funny Plastic Flowers
(1) Funny Plastic Flowers Official Caesar Inaction Figure (paper doll)
(1) Randomly Selected and Signed Character Post Card
Thank you for supporting Loud Coffee Press!
*The Deluxe Editions will retail for $9 upon release on January 18th, 2021.
